Tired People

By Pastor Johannes Nare

Brief Message on People who get tired

Galatians 6:9

I want to talk about people who get tired along the way; I want to talk about people who are feeling the weight of life in their souls; I want to talk about people who are feeling the weight of their families upon their lives. I want to talk about people who are tired of their own families. I want to talk to people who are tired of their own children.

“Let us not become wearyin doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Some people just make a phone call to cause conflicts amongst other people lives. Just a phone call, people start fighting! Such people are tired. You will endup going to every church. You know what at the end of the day; you will sit down and count all the churches you went to. You will start saying, I can’t go there because they did that to me; I can’t go there because of that and that. At the end of the day, they will be no church left for you. You will then relax and attend no church. The devil will have a way to you!

How many people you know; people who were working for the Lord; but there are nolonger attending church? If you may ask them what happened; they will say, all Christian churches are bad. Not that the churches are bad, but he is the one who was causing troubles in people’s lives. Now people are aware that he is a bad person; once he moves to another church, the Christians on the other side send a warning sign saying, “Pastor, he is coming! Pastor be ready for touble. If he can just say something everything will be messed up.” Those are the results of tired being tired.

Some people realise that they are tired, and instead of solving their issues they decide to move from one church to another. This thing is a pain in my heart; to see many churches in one street; so and so name; and so and so name. When you look at their history, you find that they started the churches with hatred. They started the churches with pain in their hearts. They started their churches from fighting somewhere. Some started their churches because of money.

When you get tired, don’t make decisions that will put you in danger. Let’s look at Joseph. Joseph was tormented by his own brothers. They even put him in the pit. The worse of them all, they sold him. This man, inspite of all these things, did not neglect his family. He never got tired because he knew the purpose of him being sold. He knew that, one day he will open doors for others.

Some people when they get angry they move out. That is very dangerous!

There are people who expect to reap what they did not work for. Some people question God about their situations. Somethings need no prayer; it needs you to take a stand. You must go out to the field and plant. You can’t expect tomatoes in your garden if you only planted onions. That is impossible! Some of us plant bad things, and we expect good things in return.

Some young people live a reckless life (dustbin life), but they want to be good people; they want to have good families after 10 years. That is not possible! If you want to be a good father after 15 years, be a good young person. The life you live as a young person today will follow you even when you get married. Your children will live the way you lived. You will start questioning God about your life forgetting the kind of life you led in the past. You will reap what you planted; if not you, your children will. “I will punish the children according to what their parents did!”  We always pray that, whatever we did in the past must not affect our children.
